HKIFFS Announces Shortlisted Projects for HAF Film Lab 2026

從過百份申請中脫穎而出的 8 項華語電影項目，製作地區主要為香港及中國內地。本屆入圍項目展現了極致的類型融合與想像力：故事從人工智能技術困局、體制暗流下的母女命運，延展至九龍唐樓清拆的懸疑與身份迷思；更交織了身體異化的驚悚、外星人降臨的狂想，以及對離島酷兒共居與數位時代遷徙的內省探討。各團隊將於 8 月 24 日至 28 日參與一連五天的線下培訓，內容涵蓋劇本創作、電影美術、電影音效、國際合製融資、電影推廣與發行，以及一對一劇本諮詢。

本會誠邀公眾參與 Film Lab 舉辦的公開講座，講座將以實體和網上混合模式舉行，並設有廣東話、國語及英語即時傳譯。免費登記將於 8 月 10 日開放，敬請留意！ 

From over a hundred entries, 8 Chinese-language film projects from Hong Kong and Mainland China have made this year's shortlist, displaying incredible genre blending and creativity. The stories delve into AI dilemmas, systemic maternal struggles, and identity mysteries tied to Kowloon’s urban demolition. The lineup further delivers a striking mix of body horror, alien fantasies, queer communal living, and digital migration. 

From 24 to 28 August, the selected teams will gather for a five-day offline workshop. The comprehensive curriculum covers scriptwriting, production design, sound design, co-production financing, and marketing and distribution, completed by dedicated one-on-one script consultations.

Open lectures will be available to the public, with free registration starting on 10 August. The lectures will be conducted in a hybrid format, both in-person and online, with simultaneous interpretation provided in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Please stay tuned for more updates!
