為慶祝香港國際電影節成立50週年，香港國際電影節協會與素手掬影業（Carry On Film）聯手推出全新計劃——「亞洲故事‧新世代」（Asian Stories‧Next Gen），全力扶植長片項目。本計劃以三年為週期，每年製作一部優質原創長片，提供150萬人民幣的製作資助，並為每個項目匹配一名監製，從開發到拍攝全程提供創作指導與建議，讓新一代創作人獲得全面的支援。
To celebrate the Festival’s 50th anniversary, the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society, in partnership with Carry On Film, launches a new initiative — Asian Stories ‧ Next Gen — dedicated to supporting feature-length projects. Over a three-year cycle, one original feature film will be produced each year, with a production grant of RMB 1.5 million. Each project will be paired with an executive producer as mentor, providing creative guidance and advice from development through to shooting, and offering comprehensive support for a new generation of filmmakers.

2027年度第二屆特邀監製為 賈樟柯 導演。徵集自今日起至8月31日，面向亞洲國家及地區公開，針對片長70分鐘以上之劇情長片。入選項目完成拍攝後，將在香港國際電影節進行展映。其他投件資格及細則請參考網頁。
We are pleased to announce JIA ZHANGKE as the specially invited executive producer for the 2027 edition. Submissions are open from today through August 31 to applicants across Asian countries and territories, and are aimed at narrative feature films with a running time of 70 minutes or longer. Once the selected project has completed production, it will be screened at the Hong Kong International Film Festival. Details regarding eligibility and criteria are available on the website.

1970年山西汾陽出生，1997年畢業於北京電影學院文學系，在校期間已開始短片創作。短片《小山回家》（1996）獲得香港獨立短片及錄影比賽（ifva）劇情組金獎。首部長片《小武》（1997）入圍柏林影展青年論壇。最新作品為《風流一代》（2024）。除了執導電影，亦積極投入監製工作。2017年創辦平遙國際電影展。
Jia was born in 1970 in Fenyang, Shanxi Province. He graduated from Beijing Film Academy in 1997, where he began making short films. His short Xiao Shan Going Home (1996) won the ifva Gold Award. His debut feature Xiao Wu (1997) premiered at Berlinale Forum. His latest film is Caught by the Tides (2024). Alongside directing, he produces and founded the Pingyao International Film Festival in 2017.

「亞洲故事‧新世代」（Asian Stories‧Next Gen）計劃由2026年開始策動，第一屆獲選計劃《去邪》由王杰執導、雙雪濤監製及指導。《去邪》目前已經進入項目籌備階段，並預定於今年內完成拍攝。
Initiated in 2026, the programme’s first selected project Evil Water Boy is directed by Wang Jie, with Shuang Xuetao serving as producer and mentor, and is scheduled to complete shooting in 2026.

作家、編劇、導演、監製。1983年生於瀋陽。代表作有小說集《平原上的摩西》《飛行家》《獵人》《不間斷的人》；長篇小說《翅鬼》《天吾手記》《聾啞時代》；雜文集《白色綿羊裡的黑色綿羊》；影視改編作品《刺殺小說家》《平原上的摩西》《飛行家》《我的朋友安德烈》等多部。
Writer, screenwriter, director, and producer. Born in Shenyang in 1983. His representative works include short story collections: Moses on the Plain, The Aviator, Hunter, The Continuous Man; full-length novels: Winged Ghost, Tianwu’s Notebook, The Deaf-Mute Era; and essay collection Black Among the White. Several of his works have been adapted into films, including A Writer's Odyssey, Moses on the Plain, The Aviator and My Friend Andrei.

Wang Jie is an emerging filmmaker whose short films include Murder Monday, Tell the Men We’re Going Out, as well as the horror short Write Her Name in Water. He was involved in the development and production of The Story Unheard and Welcome to the Game.
