HKIFF INDUSTRY PROJECT MARKET ANNOUNCES 25 PRIZES WITH NEW SPONSORSHIP FROM THAILAND AND MAINLAND CHINA

The HKIFF Industry Project Market announces cash and in-kind prizes across 17 categories, including development and post-production gap financing, in-kind equipment, filming, and post-production services. The total value of the 25 award winners amounts to US$360,000. The Award Ceremony will be held in Starlight Theatre, HKCEC, at 4:30pm on 19 March 2026.

Three partners will present awards at the HKIFF Industry Project Market for the first time: Kantana Holdings will offer three in-kind awards for digital intermediate (DI) post-production (US$25,000), sound post-production (US$25,000), and virtual production (US$87,500). Phenom Films will support one project with in-kind post-production services valued at US$38,500.

In addition to post-production, sensitive skincare brand Cetaphil is collaborating with the Project Market this year to promote creative voices through the HAF Goes to Cannes programme, supporting selected filmmakers as they showcase their work on the international stage.

All shortlisted feature, animation and genre work-in-progress (WIP) projects will be showcased at the Starlight Theatre, HKCEC on 17 March 2026, starting at 1:20pm. Representatives from each project will present their work and share exclusive footage of their projects in progress. All HKIFF Industry Project Market and FILMART badge holders are invited to attend.
