The 24th Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF), as part of the newly expanded HKIFF Industry Project Market, is now open for In-development Project (IDP) submissions. Scheduled to take place from 17 to 19 March 2026, alongside the 30th Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART), the event provides a platform for filmmakers to present their film projects and connect with global investors and industry professionals.
This year's edition welcomes fictional feature film projects from across Asia. Following the success of last year’s Animation Initiative, a new Genre Films Section has been added to spotlight thriller, horror, sci-fi, and other genre-driven projects.
Selected projects will be invited to Hong Kong to participate in the three-day Project Market, where they will engage with industry professionals and compete for cash and in-kind awards. For submission details and guidelines, please visit our official website.
Applications submitted on or before 5 October are eligible for an early bird discount on their IDP submission. A special discounted submission rate is also available for directors without a commercially released feature or documentary film. The submission deadline is 31 October 2025. Call for Work-in-Progress (WIP) submissions will be announced on 3 November 2025.
