HAF ANNOUNCES 24 PRIZES WITH
NEW SPONSORSHIP FROM CNC, RED SEA, PICA PICA MEDIA, MAXTIMES, SKYFILM AND APUTURE |
The 23rd Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF23) unveils six new awards, increasing the total number of cash and in-kind prizes across 20 categories to 24, with a value exceeding US$250,000. The new award sponsors are CNC from France, the Red Sea Film Foundation from Saudi Arabia, Pica Pica Media from Hong Kong, and Maxtimes, SkyFilm, and Aputure from mainland China.
These awards offer a range of opportunities, from financial support for development and post-production gap financing to in-kind equipment, filming, and post-production service support. The selected 25 in-development projects (IDPs), 15 works-in-progress (WIPs), and six projects from the new animation section will compete for these prizes.

All shortlisted feature and animation WIP projects will be showcased at Starlight Theatre, HKCEC on 17 and 18 March 2025. Representatives from each project will present their work and share footage of their projects in progress. All HKIFF Industry Project Market and FILMART badge holders are invited to participate.

Guest registration is now open for all industry professionals and festival programmers until until 23:59* on Friday, 7 March, through Guset Registration System. All accredited guests will have the opportunity to schedule one-on-one meetings with filmmakers to discuss their projects. The appointment system will close on Monday, 10 March 23:59* .
