INAUGURAL HKIFF INDUSTRY - CAA CHINA INITIATIVE
ANNOUNCES SIX GENRE PROJECTS
6 項入圍首屆「HKIFF Industry - CAA 中國類型電影計劃（HCG）」揭曉
HKIFFS announces six genre projects shortlisted for the inaugural HKIFF Industry – CAA China Genre Initiative (HCG), a programme dedicated to supporting and facilitating the growth of Chinese-language genre projects. The first edition of HCG will coincide with the 22nd Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) and will be held from 11 to 13 March 2024, alongside the 28th Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART). Both HCG and HAF are part of the expanded HKIFF Industry Project Market.
The inaugural HCG selection includes three feature debuts, also featuring projects endorsed by renowned filmmakers such as Guan Hu and Jean Yeo.
香港國際電影節協會公布6項入圍首屆「HKIFF Industry - CAA 中國類型電影計劃」（簡稱HCG）的電影項目，該計劃旨在支持華語類型電影項目的發展。首屆HCG將與第22屆香港亞洲電影投資會（HAF22）於2024年3月11至13日舉行的第28屆香港影視展（FILMART）同期舉行。HCG和HAF同為新擴展之電影業辦公室項目市場轄下計劃。
首屆HCG入圍項目包括3項初次執導的新晉導演計劃，當中亦不乏資深電影人監製如管虎、楊麗娟加持的項目。
