第四十八屆香港國際電影節「火鳥大獎」，四項競賽共有42部作品參與，各設獨立評審團，將選出共12個獎項，結果將於4月7日假香港文化中心舉行的「頒獎禮之夜」公布。
The 48th Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF48) has unveiled a distinguished line-up of jury members for its Firebird Awards competition, including Carlo Chatrian, Zar Amir, Fruit Chan, Karena Lam, Liu Jian, and Du Haibin.
The competition, which aims to recognise emerging talents in cinema and celebrate the most innovative and exciting new films, will announce its winners at the Awards Ceremony at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on 7 April.
HKIFF48 has tasked four independent jury panels with selecting 12 winners from a shortlist of 42 films in four sections this year, evaluating the films based on their creativity, technical skills, and artistry. |

火鳥大獎「新秀電影競賽」自2019年新增華語單元，過去五年發掘了多位潛質優厚的新晉人才，成為影壇生力軍。今年擔綱評審重任是三位傑出影人，包括本屆焦點影人陳果、著名演員兼電影節大使林嘉欣，以及北京電影學院教授兼資深策展人張獻民，他曾為《老狗》及《路邊野餐》等獨立電影出任監製。他們將以獨到眼光，從八部作品中選出火鳥大獎及最佳導演、男女演員四項大獎得主，發掘華語影壇明日新星。
The jury for the Firebird Awards Young Cinema Competition for Chinese language films, now in its sixth year, are HKIFF48 Filmmaker-in-Focus Fruit Chan; HKIFF48 Ambassador and renowned actress Karena Lam; and Zhang Xianmin, a professor of Film Studies at Beijing Film Academy and the producer of notable Chinese independent films such as Old Dog and Kaili Blues.

「新秀電影競賽（世界）」單元的評審團星光熠熠，由四位著名電影人合組而成。憑《聖誅》成為首位伊朗裔康城影后的莎阿米，將聯同去年憑《女孩的成長圖騰》勇奪火鳥大獎的墨西哥新銳導演莉娜阿維萊絲，憑《少年的你》橫掃香港電影金像獎八項大獎及提名奧斯卡最佳國際影片的導演曾國祥，以及曾任羅迦諾電影節及柏林影展藝術總監的卡洛查卓安，攜手選出四項火鳥大獎得主。
Zar Amir, the first Iranian actress to win the Best Actress award at Cannes with Holy Spider, will join three other exceptional industry professionals to judge the Firebird Award Young Cinema Competition for World Cinema. The other jury members for this competition are Lila Avilés, a Mexican director whose film Tótem won last year’s Firebird World Cinema Award; Derek Tsang, a Hong Kong director who received numerous awards for his film Better Days; and Carlo Chatrian, the former Artistic Director of the Locarno Festival and Berlin International Film Festival.

入圍角逐「紀錄片競賽」的電影亦有八部，擔任評審的包括屢獲殊榮的中國獨立紀錄片代表人物杜海濱，去年憑《她與她的自畫像》榮獲火鳥大獎的丹麥導演莉雅格洛，以及TIDF台灣國際紀錄片影展統籌暨選片人陳婉伶。他們將以專業角度選出兩部出類拔萃的紀錄片。
Du Haibin, a multi-award-winning Chinese independent documentary filmmaker, will be part of the jury responsible for selecting the Firebird Award and Jury Prize winners in the Documentary Competition. Joining Du are Lea Glob, a Danish director who won the Firebird Documentary Award at HKIFF47 with Apolonia, Apolonia, and Chen Wan-Ling, the Head of Documentary for Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute and a programmer for the Taiwan International Documentary Festival. |

在「國際短片競賽」評審席上，計有中國動畫電影導演兼編劇劉健、憑《金都》獲香港電影金像獎新晉導演獎的黃綺琳，與以另類紀錄片及抽象日記電影見稱的實驗電影創作者廖沛毅。憑他們的豐富經驗，能從18部入圍短片中脫穎而出的兩部影片，必然是展現出色創意之作。
第四十八屆香港國際電影節定於今年3月28日至4月8日，完整節目將於3月8日公布。
Three esteemed jury members will judge the Short Film Competition: Liu Jian, an acclaimed Chinese animator and film director; Norris Wong, who won the Best New Director award at the Hong Kong Film Awards with her debut film My Prince Edward; and Simon Liu, a notable experimental filmmaker known for his alternative documentary forms and abstract diary films.
The Firebird Awards Competition is a part of HKIFF48, which will be held from 28 March to 8 April. The festival will announce its complete programme and screening schedule on 8 March. |
